boronia heights primary school

The existing ovals for this sport-focused school were often out of commission, they were either water logged in winter or dusty and dry in summer.

Content Studio was briefed to design two artificial turf ovals that better connected to the school and facilitated equitable access.

Content Studio, in collaboration with Simon Ellis Landscape Architects, designed two ovals to accommodate different age groups linked by a cross country running track. The ovals were surrounded by landscape elements (ramps, pathways, garden beds) creating a more equitable connection to the school. The project also included a terraced productive garden outside the STEAM Building, linking the indoor and outdoor teaching programs.
