Two projects for the ANZ .
The first project was concept and design development for a fitout. The design helped develop a spatial identity for the business units occupying the floor by branding a central core of meeting rooms and collaboration areas. and using the device of a split core to provide separate entries to each of the three units. Other design devices such as quiet rooms and ‘dedicated’ collaboration areas reduced focus on workstations and offices.
The second was a research project exploring how spatial design can improve communication between teams split across countries and cultures. The study proposed a collaboration centre with open AV links between offices in different parts of the world. The study looked at how to increase communication, make it more effective, use time, space, and equipment more efficiently.
